13 August So many newsposts, such activity! We have another big announcement. Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is now here! Accounts all over the furriverse and beyond have been getting attacked and compromised. The most common way this happens is when you reuse your password on a site that has a data breach, and someone retries your password elsewhere. Take a few minutes now to secure your account with a fresh (unique!) password and turn on 2FA. You can enable it under ' Apps ' in the settings of your user account page. Eventually I'll write a guide for it. 3 August Hello everypony, we've had a change of command on e621. Starting today, Rainbow Dash is the new site lead. Day to day operations will remain the same. Forum post with cookies and celebratory oats can be found here 28 July Hey there! We've implemented a new karma system for uploads: If you had unlimited uploads before this, your karma will automatically be set to 100 and you'll retain unlimited uploads All other users will need to reach 100 post approvals and then their uploads will bypass the approval queue Takedowns do not affect your karma No, it is not retroactive as of this moment, but will be slowly rolled backwards in about a month (its just a complicated and expensive operation to do) Read the full details here
