ECG Logger for Polar H10 - Transform your Polar H10 into a powerful ECG monitor with ECGLogger app. Available for iOS, macOS and Android: ECGLogger app reads, visualizes and records your heart data (single-lead ECG, R-R and pulse) from your Polar H10 chest strap. Features include: Super easy to use - after installing the app just hit connect to see your data Real-time data vizualization on the standard ECG grid ECG (EKG), pulse (heart rate) and R-R (RR intervals) on the same graph Easy navigation across your data with zoom and pan gestures Recording in the background - even for 12h or more (long recordings are automatically split into 1h files) Recordings can be opened later on from the app Marking the important moments during the recording Recordings can be exported as PDF files that include the same graphs as seen in the app Recordings can also be shared with anyone who can then use ECGLogger app to open them ECGLogger is available for iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android (phones, tablets). Additionally, ECGLogger app is available for macOS (Apple computers) with Apple silicon. Apple App Store Google Play Store No, ECGLogger is not approved, developer or supported by Polar by any means. ECGLogger is developed and maintained by me, Matti Mononen, as a personal project. If you have questions regarding ECGLogger you're welcome to contact me at: matti.mononen@protonmail.com . No, ECGLogger is not a medical device. ECGLogger is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or health condition. If you are concerned about your health, consult a medical specialist and stop using ECGLogger immediately. ECGLogger app does not provide any automatic tools to analyse your heart data. ECGLogger only displays the raw heart data as provided by Polar H10. ECGLogger app is free to download. You can use it on the real-time mode to see your ECG/pulse/R-R data free of charge. However, unlocking recording and/or PDF exporting require a one-time payment (no subscription!). The prices are approximately*: Recording: 8 USD/EUR PDF exporting: 5 USD/EUR *The exact price varies depending on your location due to different tax rates etc. Recording: 8 USD/EUR PDF exporting: 5 USD/EUR Payment will be done as an in-app purchase: it uses Google's [Android] / Apple's [iOS/macOS] payment system and you will see the exactly price before your credit card is charged. Firstly, please make sure your Polar H10's firmware is up-to-date. ECGLogger app is only compatible with Polar H10 having firmware v3.0.35 or newer. You can use Polar Beat app to view your Polar H10's firmware version and update it when necessary.

Secondly, please make sure your Polar H10 is not connected with anything else besides ECGLogger app. If your Polar H10 is already connected with your Polar watch or any app that uses your H10 sensor (Polar Beat app, for example) then it is possible that ECGLogger is not able to connect with your Polar H10. Additionally, ECGLogger requires Bluetooth being enabled on your device, and GPS (Location services) being enabled on some Android devices, and you need to give the app the permissions to access device's Bluetooth and GPS when requested. However, ECGLogger app should prompt a warning message if required Bluetooth/GPS is not available. Finally, please make sure the battery of your H10 is in a good working condition. A weak battery can cause the app failing to connect with your sensor. Please unselect RR using the toggles below the graph. Pulse and RR use the same axis on the right. If both RR and pulse are selected then the scale is 0-2000. If only pulse is selected then the scale is 0-200. Yes, this should be possible but it requires you to enable '2 receiving BLE devices' for your Polar H10 by using Polar Beat app. No, if you use the same Google/Apple user on your second device you can unlock the paid features again as free of charge. Click 'Info' button and go to the 'Settings' section. From the settings click 'Restore in app-purchases'. Your previously purchased features should be restored now. There are two options: You can share your recording (CSV file) with someone via email etc and ask them to download ECGLogger app too. The app is available on Android/iOS/macOS and any recording can be opened on any app version. Unlock the PDF exporting (in-app purchase feature) to be able to save your recordings in PDF format, your PDF can be then shared with someone via email etc. PDF will have the same graphs as seen in the app. Example PDF can be seen here . Yes, it's possible to import the data to Excel and even create a graph out of it but it requires some technical skills and can be quite tricky. The following PDF has some instructions regarding Excel importing but you've to figure out the details by yourself. ECGLogger_Excel.pdf Yes, it's possible to import the ECG data to EDFbrowser. The key settings for the CSV importing: 130 Hz sampling rate and 1000x multiplier for the ECG samples. Please see the detailed settings below. Apparently it's also required to delete the other columns except the two first ones before importing. This can be done with Excel or Google Sheets etc. Approximately 130 Hz. 1st column: timestamp of the sample as UNIX epoch in nanoseconds 2nd column: ECG in millivolts 3rd column: pulse in beats per minute 4rd column: R-R interval in milliseconds 5th column: user added marker Note: pulse/RR/markers are only written when there's new data. Thus for most of the timestamps only ECG value exists. This is done to optimize the file sizes. If you have additional questions or comments about the app, or you need further technical assistance, feel free to contact me via email at (in English, in Finnish): matti.mononen@protonmail.com
