Bing Quizzes is a free daily trivia site. Every day we publish a new 10-question quiz on general knowledge, science, history, geography, news, and entertainment, and you get 300 seconds to finish it. Every answer comes with a short explanation, so you learn something even when you guess wrong.

What Is Bing Quizzes?
We're an independent trivia website built around one simple habit: a short quiz every day. Each daily quiz has 10 multiple-choice questions split into two pages of five, with a 300-second timer for the whole round, so you can finish it in five minutes on a phone or a laptop.
The topics rotate. One day you might get world capitals and famous rivers; the next, movie trivia, space facts, or recent headlines. After each answer you see the correct choice and a short explanation, which turns a lucky guess into a fact you'll actually remember.
Besides the daily quiz, you can play topic quizzes any time, from history and science to otters, sloths, golf, and New Zealand.

Here's the style of question you'll find across the site. Tap a question to reveal the answer.
Colorado River Over roughly five to six million years, the Colorado River cut down through layers of rock to form the canyon. Play the full Grand Canyon quiz .
Sea otter Sea otters have up to about a million hairs per square inch. Unlike most marine mammals, they have no thick blubber, so that fur keeps them warm. Try the Bing Otter Quiz .
Wellington Many people guess Auckland, which is the country's largest city, but Wellington has been the capital since 1865. More in the New Zealand quiz .
About once a week Sloths spend almost their whole lives in the trees and usually come down only about once a week to go to the bathroom. See the Bing Sloth Quiz .
How We Write Every Quiz
Every quiz on this site is written by our own editors, not copied from other quiz sites. We aim for questions that are fair to a curious adult: no trick wording and no deliberately obscure trivia. Each answer is checked against a reliable reference, such as an encyclopedia like Britannica , an official website, or a major news outlet such as AP News for news quizzes, and each explanation tells you the fact behind the answer.

Tips for a Higher Bing Quiz Score
Read every word. Words like "not," "first," and "largest" change the answer.
Rule out the wrong choices. Dropping one bad option improves your odds right away.
Use the category. In a geography round, a choice that isn't a place is rarely right.
Read the explanations. Topics come back, and yesterday's explanation can be tomorrow's point.
Watch the clock. 300 seconds for 10 questions is about 30 seconds each, so answer the easy ones quickly and save time for the hard ones.
Play daily. A short quiz every day builds recall faster than one long session a week.
