I am trying to create a document and I have this final hurdle that I have been trying to figure out on my own for a few weeks now. I have a column in my sheet titled 'Total Expenses' which does what it says; it calculates all expenses for that day. I want to have another column that calculates the running total but for only the current we we're in which for me will be Monday to Friday so I won't ever have any expenses for Saturday or Sunday. All information in my sheet is being displayed in a 3rd party app and I also have a column for the date and also a column for a day of the week for that particular date if that helps. Can anyone shed any light on what I'll need to do to get this to work please before I go even more bald. Sorry, I'm a total novice but I'm trying to learn. =OR(IF(F3="Saturday",,SUM(D3+G2)),IF(F3="Sunday",,SUM(D3+G2))) 0 comments No comments I have tried this but all I get returned is 'TRUE' rather than a number. As show in my reply. Anonymous 2024-03-24T08:59:50+00:00 Thanks for trying but that didn't work. It just gives me random numbers like in my mock up above. What I want to achieve is in the image below but I need a formula that I can copy down that will ignore Saturday & Sunday as I have done manually here. As you can see the addition restarts again on a Monday and ignores all cells in the previous week. 0 comments No comments Thanks for trying but that didn't work. In another column in row 2, enter the formula =SUMIFS($E$2:$E$1000, $D$2:$D$1000, ">="&D2-WEEKDAY(D2, 3), $D$2:$D$1000, "<="&MIN(D2,D2-WEEKDAY(D2, 3)+4)) Fill down. 0 comments No comments Let's say the Total Expenses are in D2 and down, and the Dates in E2 and down.
