<NoCamerasAreAttached> No camera, no drivers available, no troubleshooting for devices
发布时间:2026-10-06 | 浏览:1
So essentially any time I try and open my camera app or use the webcam in browsers, the error<NoCamerasAreAttached> is displayed.
Based on aid from different websites and forums I have already attempted the following to no avail:
Restarted my laptop
Installed any outstanding updates for my laptop and verified the camera isn't blocked by my antivirus (Norton Antivirus)
Updated the camera app through Microsoft Store
Installed any new drivers from ASUS
Attempted to troubleshoot my laptop (though no troubleshooting for imaging devices came up)
Used device manager to try and "Add legacy hardware" (though no camera was available)
Used device manager to "Scan for hardware changes"
Downloaded 3rd party apps specifically designed to scan for driver updates
Although in the device manager I have menus for Imaging devices and Sound, game, and video controllers , no Integrated Camera driver is available for either of those. Additionally, I have no menu for Unknown devices .
I have posted screenshots below of the error message, update profile, and device manager.
If it is of any help, my laptop is the: ASUS UX330UAK 64-bit
I have tried everything I can possibly think of and am at a loss for how to proceed and resolve this issue.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Anonymous 2020-03-16T09:41:17+00:00 Ok. So I'm not certain why this worked but I managed to resolve the problem by plugging an external USB webcam into my laptop. When I removed the USB webcam and went back to the camera app, the internal camera was restored and working as normal. Under the device manager, I now also have a menu labelled Cameras which I didn't have previously. I'm aware most people don't own their own USB webcams anymore so perhaps ask a friend or the IT department where you work if you could borrow one to test your laptop's functionality. I'll post an update if anything about this particular situation changes, Kindly, Antoine 0 comments No comments
