Discussione eBay item number: 157634229635 I accepted a purchase offer, but the item still doesn’t show as sold. Discussione eBay does not assist or protect the buyer I accidentally closed a return request and now I can no longer proceed with returning the product. Lately I’ve noticed a big problem that I think especially harms sellers, but that could also have major consequences for buyers: there are listings with absurd prices, either excessively high or excessively low. Today, for example, I saw a 100 lire coin worth a few cents, listed for 25,000 euros. Yes, twenty-five thousand. The other day, on the other hand, the opposite situation: a banknote worth 200 euros, listed for 0.01 euros with 200 euros in shipping costs. In this way, in searches, when sorting by "lowest price," the listings from those trying to game the system show up first... Can nothing be done to prevent all this? 3 weeks ago last reply 2 weeks ago Good morning I’m not a seller, just a buyer. Discussione Humble request to reactivate the Pickup Point for the old product categories Hello everyone, I’m writing to request the reinstatement of the Pickup Point service for categories that have now been excluded, such as computer products. The reason is that the Pickup Point was an opportunity, now replaced by other complications such as having to turn to other, sometimes cumbersome, workarounds or private pickup services with often exaggerated costs (ranging from €1.50 to €3 per shipment) and features that are not very promising or reassuring. What can be done for those who, for example, live in rural areas or without a street number? I looked it up on Google and was recommended certain services that, however, require a series of precautions such as specific address details, purchase of tickets, etc. that don’t seem very reliable and seem quite susceptible to human error. Whereas with the Pickup Point there was always certainty, never a package missing (unlike what happened to me with another holding service at a tobacconist’s, which by some miracle did not go badly). I hope I don’t come across as whiny, I’d simply like to find out the reason why certain products were excluded from the Pickup Point (at the moment, I’ve been able to verify that, for example, only books can be bought with this option and not all auctions provide it as a shipping method). Maybe I’m talking nonsense, but couldn’t it even be made the default option for every product? At 11:50:33 this morning, a postcard I was interested in expired; at 11:50:31 I bid 17.00 euros (I am absolutely certain about this). How is it possible that my bid was recorded by the system as 16.29 euros (an amount I never clicked on), and that the auction was won by another user for 16.29 euros, an amount lower than my bid? I already spoke with eBay via chat and they claim there is no issue on their end. Can anyone explain this to me? If there’s no certainty at this point, then everything falls through. Discussione Return of uncollected package Last August 24, I bought a perfume on eBay, choosing, at the time of purchase, a pickup point that I changed (through the option given to me by Poste Italiane courier) via email, choosing a Locker available 24/7, but for some strange reason, in the tracking it showed that the courier had not been able to deliver the package to the locker I had selected, telling me that I would be informed of the new place where the package would be delivered. After a few days, seeing that I hadn’t received any email, I checked the tracking and saw that on August 30, at 10:06 a.m., the package had been delivered, but it doesn’t specify how, on the tracking it just says “the shipment was delivered CT,” so I went to the post office in my town, and they couldn’t tell me anything, other than to contact SDA, since they handled the delivery, but since I was already annoyed, I went ahead and bought the same item elsewhere, so I went to my order and wanted to return the item, but I accidentally selected “item not arrived” instead of “return the item”; in response to this dispute of mine, the seller simply wrote to me that the package had been delivered, but I, having the right of withdrawal, want it to go back and therefore I want a refund. I read in my account that if I don’t solve the problem by September 5 (tomorrow), I can ask eBay to step in, but at the same time I’m asking for some guidance here. 1 month ago last reply 1 month ago Last August 24, I bought a perfume on eBay, choosing, at the time of purchase, a pickup point that I changed (through the option given to me by Poste Italiane courier) via email, choosing a Locker available 24/7, but for some strange reason, in the tracking it showed that the courier had not been able to deliver the package to the locker I had selected, telling me that I would be informed of the new place where the package would be delivered. Discussione Speechless, eBay getting worse and worse I received a non-compliant/defective item for which I opened a return request. But the seller isn’t sending me the shipping label so I can go ahead with the return.... asking me to close the case, which he says would then be reopened by him. Well.. of course the seller is no longer replying to messages. Even though ebay no longer has a number to speak with an agent “I find this shocking”, when I wrote in chat with some kind of agent, he told me that the case cannot be reopened and advised me to resell the item at a higher price because the case cannot be reopened... (this is complete madness).. I’m counting on the PayPal dispute. I think I’ll file a complaint against the scam seller and against Ebay, complicit in the system 1 month ago last reply 1 month ago I received a non-compliant/defective item for which I opened a return request. The seller assures me and guarantees in chat same-day shipping if purchased by 4:00 p.m. (yesterday, Friday the 4th). I go ahead with the purchase, asking which shipping option I should pay for to receive the item in a short time (1/2 days), and I’m told to pay extra for the "express delivery" As of today, not only has he not shipped it, but he replies saying that by buying I accepted the terms of purchase and therefore the delivery date is September 17, adding that any return shipping would also be at my expense. At this point I ask for the order to be canceled so I can get a refund and buy from somewhere else.... nothing.. the seller keeps replying that the item will arrive within the expected time. Crazy... Customer support, of course, zero, they can’t do anything. I’m speechless. As always, the smart guys get ahead Once I receive this item, bye bye eBay, I’m deleting the account. 1 month ago The seller assures me and guarantees in chat same-day shipping if purchased by 4:00 p.m. (yesterday, Friday the 4th). Discussione False cancellation reason from the seller and €50 in coupons lost: support hasn't read the chats for 3 weeks Good morning to everyone and especially to the eBay Staff, I’m writing in this Community as a last resort, after spending 3 weeks battling with the brick wall of customer support, whose agents keep closing the conversations without solving the problem. The situation is as follows: On August 17, 2026 I bought an Apple Watch worth €200, paying an actual €150 thanks to the use of an eBay promotional coupon for €50 . ( Order ID: 17-15033-14720 ). After 3 days of complete silence from the seller, I contacted them to ask for updates on the shipment. The seller replied immediately by sending me photos of the watch display, which has a clear and deep scratch on the upper part. The item had been listed as "almost new / near mint" with no defects mentioned. The seller explicitly admits in the internal messages that the watch was damaged/worn and that they do not intend to go ahead with the sale with the partial discount I proposed (30€), as their net profit would have been too low compared with what they could have gotten by selling it elsewhere (they literally mention Vinted pricing). In eBay’s official chat, the seller literally writes: "then I’d rather cancel the order" . In practice, however, the seller cancels it in the system selecting the reason: "The buyer asked to cancel the order" . This is a blatantly false and fraudulent statement , used by the seller solely to shield themselves from eBay’s rules and avoid a "transaction defect" on their metrics for an item not available or damaged. Because of this dishonest reason entered into the system, eBay’s software has closed the case and customer support has refused for 3 weeks to credit back the €50 promotional coupon , claiming that the system shows the cancellation was requested by me. The agents categorically refuse to open the internal chat logs, where there is written, undeniable proof that the order was canceled at the seller’s request because of the broken display. I find it unacceptable that eBay’s systems and customer service protect a seller’s improper behavior at the expense of a buyer, causing me an unfair financial loss of €50. I kindly ask a Community Manager from the eBay Staff to intervene, verify the internal chat relating to the order indicated, and proceed with the manual restoration of my €50 coupon or the issuance of a replacement voucher of equal value. Discussione ITALIAN POSTAL SERVICE GETTING WORSE AND WORSE, PACKAGE MARKED AS DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN AN ONLINE REFUND REQUEST ON THE WEBSITE HELLO a parcel sent with ITALIAN POSTE, I believe a fast parcel that contained model-making art toy soldiers -- it shows as delivered but I never received it --- the delivery is listed for around 4 August at 3 p.m. -- at that time I was at home --- not long before, about an hour earlier, Bartolini had arrived to deliver another package --- I don't know what happened --- I asked the only neighbor I consider a decent person whether maybe it had been left with him -- he tells me he was at his daughter's place -- that from his window he sees this blue van, כלומר SDA, with two people, one driving and one who got out to see what was going on, a bit like this thing being a dog chasing its tail -- the neighbor says he had a package and then doesn't remember seeing anything else -- maybe they left it with another neighbor but it wasn't supposed to be left anywhere except with me, the rightful recipient --- I opened a dispute with eBay and the seller but it seems they don't really intend to help --- I opened a complaint on the Poste Italiane website about parcel correspondence, which they answer as resolved automatically in less than 4 hours because for them it shows delivered -- today I opened another complaint, no longer putting it as undelivered but as damaged/tampered with, asking to note that the parcel had not been delivered to me -- but it says it was delivered -- they know if I want who was making deliveries in a certain area that day -- it wasn't the usual delivery person, definitely someone else --- I think it's the same one whom on Wednesday at 1 p.m. I asked where that shipment of mine had ended up; he pretends not to understand, saying he is only here for support --- but how can he, if he doesn't know the area, go and pick up two packages from a neighbor?
